Rebirth

Today finds me the woman I wanted to be…

Well loved, soft and warm…

A laugh that has known deep joy and sorrow…

Still quick to return and delight in tomorrow.

I have become the woman I longed for….

Wise and free and unafraid…

My struggles and joys in life have shaped me.

Rising up from the ashes, a Phoenix reborn….

With a passion to experience more

I am the woman I dreamed of…

The daughter grown who still blushes,

The Mother who still brushes away tears….

The lover still touched….gently touches.

I am the woman becoming….

More joyous with age…

Who knows where I am going…

With the wisdom of a sage.

Metamorphisis

Dreams…

Namaste to all….I would like to tell a bit of my story here…..I am almost 57 years old,I have a beautiful partner named Ginger, a therapy dog named Gracie, a loving daughter and son…Adrieanna and Rob and two very special granddaughters, Zoe and Payton Mae. I also have a family of a daughter Teresa, son Matteo and 2 grandsons Soren and Ayden…my spiritual family! A lot of love to support and nurture me in this stage of my life. I have been diagnosed with end-stage HepC with 1-3 years to live, but thanks to an inspiring spiritual daughter I have regained hope and am following a new method of treatment with Traditional Chinese Medicine….it is working very well and I will be forever grateful for the Charity and Compassion shown me at the Clinic I go to. I was fired a year ago for my condition, after 8 years there. Which in turn we had to move sell whatever we had, give away our beloved pets Annie and Scooby. Our Land Rover repossessed and move from Washington to Oregon to be near our family. I love Oregon now, I am happy we came here. I don’t have any health insurance and have to apply for charity when I need something medical….I have been blessed by all I have recieved…I thank the higher powers for people that understand and are willing to share their advantages with those of us who have fallen and need help! I never thought I would be in this kind of situation, I have worked all my life with children…as a daycare provider and for a non profit residence for displaced, at-risk teens and have always felt as if my place is to mother and nurture. Now I am a crone, my widom and experiences are there to share with others. We both are living on disability which barely pays our bills so I am widening my horizons by putting my jewelry on the internet to sell. I have always followed the Market/Festival trail but it has become to hard on me physically. I also want to move to Puerto Rico for at least 6months and this will work for that also. I want to experience a new culture, make friends, and live somewhere that is more laid back than our society is here. Living on an island surrounded by the ocean sounds like heaven to me….the ocean recharges me spiritually and I always see things for what they are……..I am a tiny piece of it all when I look upon her, and so are my troubles….she soothes me………..maireisabella
